Who We See

Pregnancy Care / Pre and Postnatal

During pregnancy it is important to receive regular chiropractic care to maintain balance, alignment and flexibility.  When the baby is comfortable, it can assume the optimal birthing position.  Many moms seem to have less morning sickness, require less high-tech intervention with shorter & less traumatic births.

New Born / Adolescent Children

Even today's birthing procedures can put stress on a baby's spine.  And while the injury from forceps deliveries may be less common today, vacuum extraction and eager hands can do even more damage by pulling, forcing and twisting the baby's young spine.  Many newborns experience colic, unexplained crying, lack of appetite and frequent ear infections.  A chiropractic examination would be helpful to determine if a birth trauma to the spine is the cause of the problem.  As children continue to grow, regular chiropractic checkups are essential to monitor their spinal development and ensure continued health.

Athletes and Exercise Enthusiasts

Exercise buffs and athletes from little leagers thru college feel the benefits of Chiropractic and Physical Therapy care whether it's managing pain from an injury or just staying healthy.  Runners utilize our Podiatrist to experience better results.  Our doctors & therapists here at Fischer Health & Rehabilitation can put you on the right track so you can get back to enjoying your sports activities.

Executives / Professionals / Stay At Home Parents

Everyday life experiences can trigger changes in your body whether you are a stay at home parent or a working professional.  Change can be good but it can also create stress on your nervous system.  Regular chiropractic care can help insure a healthy functioning nervous system to help you cope with anything that comes your way.

scoliosis.jpgScoliosis is a progressive disease of curvature of the spine.  It can affect people of all ages; not only children and adolescents, but also adults.  There is evidence that scoliosis can run in families and that adolescents with scoliosis are at increased risk of osteoporosis compared to the general pediatric population.  The majority of scoliosis cases do not require surgical treatment.  Fischer Health & Rehabilitation is a certified scoliosis treatment center. Dr. David Fischer has trained under Dr. Gary Deutchman, who is the leader in non surgical scoliosis treatment.

Senior Citizens

You've come a long way baby!  With the average life expectancy growing every year there are more opportunities to become healthier.  Chiropractic insures your nervous system is functioning without interference and allowing the optumal performance of your bodies twelve systems.

Family Wellness

Family.jpgFamily wellness means the entire family is under Chiropractic care; (mothers, fathers, sons daughters, grandparents.)  Some for different reasons than others, but all with one goal.  And that is to get healthy and to stay healthy through Chiropractic, nutrition and a healthy lifestyle.

Auto Related Injuries

cspine.jpgOne of the most traumatic incidences in life other than the birthing process, is an automobile accident.  Even minor injuries left untreated could cause problems later in life.  Chiropractic and Physical Therapy care can help get you back on the road to recovery.

  • An Apple a Day . . .

What is so good about an apple? Is it the color, ranging from ruby red to pale pink? Is it the crunch? The sweetness? Or is it, instead, a combination of all of these qualities, plus the natural goodness derived from the apple's secret ingredients — phytonutrients? If this were a multiple choice quiz, the answer would be "all of the above". Importantly, in addition to possessing numerous appealing physical qualities, apples contain an abundance of health-promoting biochemicals known as phytonutrients.1,2 These specific organic molecules are derived not only from apples but many other fresh fruits and vegetables, and help power the immune system, protect against cancer, maintain healthy eyes, and assist cells in clearing out metabolic waste products such as free radicals. ...
